Report: Levittown Man Charged for Bringing Gun and Hatchet to New Jersey Beach

A Bucks County man was arrested and charged by New Jersey authorities for bringing a gun and hatchet to a Cape May County beach, last weekend, a published report from the Daily Voice said.

Nelson P. Delisa, 38 of Levittown, was charged with unlawful posession of a weapon, posession of a controlles substance and posession/distribution of hypodermic needles.

According to the report, Lower Township Police responded to Higbee Beach for a suspicious person call who was walking on the beach with a hatchet and gun in the belt line of his pants, Saturday just before 2:30 p.m.

Delisa was located and taken into custody,with authorities retreiving the hatcet and pellet gun from the beach parking lot.

The Levittown man was charged and released, the report said.
