Cops: Suspect Thrashes Bristol Twp Hotel Lobby and Spits on Police

A 32 year-old man is accused of thrashing the lobby area of the Villager Lodge Hotel in Bristol Township and spitting on a Bristol Borough Police officer.

According to court records, on Thursday  April 9, 2026 at approximately 6:25 a.m., Bristol Township Police were dispatched to the Village Lodge, located at 53oo block of Bristol Pike, Bristol, for a criminal mischief complaint, where the suspect, George Koblentz allegedly smashed a window and totaled a vending machine, in the  hotels lobby area and then left.

Upon arrival, police observed the vending machine laying on the ground face down with the entire lobby window shattered.

Police spoke to a hotel employee, who told police, **officers were with the Koblentz during the night. The employee said  when he  returned in the morning, he demanded access to a secure area where only employees are permitted. The employee told police, he refused the suspects request.

The employee showed police, according to the probable cause,  video of the incident in which Koblentz  is then seen kicking the secured door, attempting to flip the vending machine, and then standing on a counter and ultimately knocks the vending machine over in a tirade of rage.  Koblentz is then seen exiting the Village Lodge, where approximately a second later a flower pot is seen crashing through the front window, shattering it.

The hotel estimated the damages to be in excess of $1,000.00, police said.

Bristol Borough Police Sgt. “Jimmr” Ellis was in the process of transporting Koblentz to Bristol Twp Police Headquarters, but had to return to the Borough with the defendant due to a call in their jurisdiction.

Koblentz was ultimately placed into custody, police said.

Ellis then transported Koblentz back to Bristol Township Police Headquarters. While attempting  to transfer custody Koblentz then turned and spit on Sgt. Ellis, police said in court papers.

Koblentz, is known to be homeless and resides in his vehicle, police said.

The “Villager” has appeared in recent news stories.

In June of 2024, Chrystal Brewington, shutdown power at the hotel, set off a fire alarm and discharged a fire extinguisher. She was serving several months of county jail time.

Glenn King a former hotel employee threatened to set his former boss on fire a little more than a year ago. King eventually pled guilty to aggravated assault, and criminal mischief charges and has a standing no contact with the hotel order in place. He was sentenced nine to 23 months in county jail and appears to be back at home on parole, according to court records.

Koblentz is charged with felony aggravated harassment by a prisoner, and criminal mischief and disorderly conduct misdemeanors and was  preliminarily arraigned by the on-call district judge Thursday evening who set bail at 10 percent of $50,000.00 with a court date set for April 28

**Koblentz was cited by Bristol Township Police, the same day as the incident described above, for driving on the wrong side of the street and is the likely explanation for his contact with police prior to allegedly trashing the hotel lobby area.
