A truck cab caught fire and becoming fully involved lighting up the night sky along the interstate.
According to Ron Roberts, last Friday evening, firefighters responded to a fully involved truck cab fire on I-295 at US-1 in Langhorne, Middletown Township.
Langhorne-Middletown Tower 21 and Engine 22 helped Penndel Engine 8 knock back the fire engulfing the tractor trailer.
Middletown, Lower Makefield, and State Police were also on the scene.
The eastbound ramp from I-295 to Northbound US-1 was closed while first responders battled the fire.
The truck driver escaped the fire safely as emergency services were arriving on scene.
No word on what caused the fire as of publication time.
