Bucks County Senior Farmers Market Vouchers Available Beginning June 1st

The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging announced the return of the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program for summer 2026.

Administered through the state Department of Agriculture, the program provides vouchers for eligible seniors to purchase produce at farmers markets.

Vouchers will be distributed through local senior centers from June 1 through Sept. 30. Availability varies by date and location.

Qualifying recipients are 60 or older and meet household income guidelines. Seniors who qualify will receive five vouchers at $5.00 each for a total of $25.

The 2026 household income eligibility is:

1 person – $29,526           5 people – $71,558
2 people – $40,034          6 people – $82,066
3 people – $50,042          7 people – $92,574
4 people – $61,050           8 people – $103,082

For the purposes of this program, “income” refers to total income before any deductions such as income taxes, Social Security, insurance premiums, charitable contributions, bonds, etc. Child support is counted as household income unless the child is a foster child.

In the event your local Senior Center has run out of vouchers, please contact the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging to get on the mailing list for an application prior to Sept. 15.
