An unidentified man drove his silver pickup truck into Neshaminy State Park in Bensalem Wednesday and went to pool area and took his own life, witnesses said.
The death by suicide occurred around 1 p.m. according to information provided to Lower Bucks Source by those who actually witnessed the tragic incident.
Pennsylvania State Police along with Bensalem and Bristol Township Police, according to a video submitted to Lower Bucks Source we’re withholding due to its potentially sensitive nature, captured law enforcement in the park’s parking area off State Road in Bensalem, checking a GMC Pickup Truck, seemingly looking for the driver.
At first, tipsters thought the heavy police presence could be connected to an incident in Croydon in which a Cadillac Escalade crashed into a Croydon home about 90 minutes before police sped into the state park.
Moments later, police started to close off access points into the park and cleared out locals swimming in the park pool.

State Troopers with local police and emergency service units were seen moving rapidly towards the pool area which is apparently where the death took place, a number of commenters said on the Lower Bucks Source Meta page.
Pennsylvania State Police as of publication time did not respond to requests for information.
Updates when new information becomes available.
