Bristol Township School District is proud to announce that four of its schools have been recognized as a 2025-26 Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Distinguished School.
Harry S Truman High School earned the designation for the third year in a row for PLTW Biomedical Science, Computer Science, and Engineering. Brookwood, Keystone and Mill Creek Elementary Schools are recognized for PLTW Launch, an elementary STEAM curriculum.
“Project Lead the Way is helping our students develop transferable skills for their futures and learn the importance of STEM at a young age,” said Chief Academic Officer Amy Coleman. “We are proud of our staff for championing PLTW courses in our schools.”
Bristol Township schools are among a select group across the U.S. to receive this honor for commitment to increasing student access, engagement and achievement in career-connected learning. PLTW is a national nonprofit organization that creates transformative learning experiences and empowers students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills for future careers.

For the third year in a row, Truman met multiple criteria in the 2024-25 school year, such as the number of PLTW course offerings, the percentage of students enrolled in PLTW, and the percentage of students taking more than one course.
At the elementary level, the schools had to have more than 75% of the student body participating and offer at least one PLTW Launch module at each grade level during the 2024-25 school year.
