The Morrisville Borough Police Department recently assisted New Jersey authorities by arresting a Trenton man wanted for attempted murder, home invasion, aggravated assault, aggravated arson, and related offenses, on drug charges.
According to Peterson’s Breaking News of Trenton on May 16, Karon Oliver, 37, forced his way into a 756 Pennington Ave residence while armed with a weapon, struck a victim, causing bodily injury, and threatened to burn down the home while fleeing.
Authorities said the victim was located several blocks away from the residence shortly after the incident. Fire personnel safely evacuated all occupants of the home, and no injuries related to the fire allegedly set by Oliver were reported. Investigators later concluded that Oliver intentionally set a fire on the first floor of the residence.

On June 3, members of the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, and Morrisville Police arrested Oliver in Morrisville Borough without incident.
According to court records, Morrisville Borough Police assisted the task force with the arrest. Oliver, authorities said was in possession of PCP (Angel Dust) that was discovered in a search, during his arrest, resulting in additional charges by Morrisville Borough authorities.

Oliver is currently being held at the Bucks County Correctional pending a extradition hearing later this month.
