Bensalem Police arrested an alleged sex predator with a prior Megan’s Law conviction on Tuesday who believed he was going to have sex with a 13 year-old girl , authorities say.
According to a press release on June 17, 2026, 47-year-old Adner Pagan-Fred of Philadelphia, initiated a conversation on a social media/dating application with a female who he believed to be 13 years old. Despite this, Pagan-Fred suggested that they meet up and told the juvenile that he wanted to be her boyfriend.
Over the next several days, Pagan-Fred’s communication with the juvenile became increasingly sexual, police said, describing specific sexual acts he planned on performing with the juvenile and requested she send sexually explicit photographs of herself.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined Pagan-Fred was a lifetime registered sex offender due to a previous conviction under Megan’s Law, according to Bensalem authorities.
On July 2, 2026 a warrant was obtained for Pagan-Fred for unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children and other related charges.
On July 7, 2026 Pagan-Fred was taken into custody by East Whiteland Police Department in Chester County on his Bensalem Township Police Arrest Warrant.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kevin Wagner Sr. and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $15,000,000.00.
