Lower Makefield Twp Police Reports June 26 2026 to July 8 2026

7/8/2026
Retail Theft – 600 block of Heacock Rd. at McCaffrey’s Food Market reported at 11:47 a.m. Complainant reported retail theft not in progress. An unknown male entered the store and attempted to remove $649.31 worth of merchandise without paying. He was confronted by employees and left the cart. He fled in an Acura MDX. Investigation ongoing.

Fraud – 500 block of W. Trenton Ave at CVS reported at 5:00 p.m. Complainant reported being contacted by someone claiming to be from their bank stating their account was compromised and they had to send $500.00 through “Pay it Here” service at the CVS.

Retail Theft – 600 block of Heacock Rd. at McCaffrey’s reported at 3:00 p.m. Manager reported that on 6/19, an unknown male entered the store and removed $386.43 worth of energy drinks without paying.

7/3/2026
Fraud:

  • 400 block of Ramsey Rd. reported at 12:02 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) claiming to be from their bank requested that a temporary account be created and they transfer $18,000.00 to the temporary account. The transaction was flagged by the complainant’s bank. No monetary loss at this time.
  • 600 block of Friar Dr. reported at 1:25 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) gained access to their Amazon account and ordered $30.00 worth of merchandise.

Drug Arrest – W. Trenton Ave. & Plaza Blvd. reported at 4:02 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 47 year old male driver from Levittown, PA and the 48 year old female passenger from LMT for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They were taken into police custody.

Public Drunkenness:

  • 900 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Shady Brook Farm reported at 10:07 p.m. Police were on scene for a security detail and were advised of individuals who had returned and were causing a disturbance after being removed. The 23 year old male from Levittown, PA was cited for Public Drunkenness.
  • 900 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Shady Brook Farm reported at 9:30 p.m. Police were on scene for a security detail and were advised of an intoxicated subject. The 22 year old male from Langhorne, PA was cited for Public Drunkenness.

7/2/2026
Identity Theft – 1400 block of Silo Rd. reported at 11:47 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) attempted to open a checking account in their name.

Soliciting Without Permit:

  • 500 block of Heritage Oak Dr. reported at 1:01 p.m. Complainant reported a solicitor for EcoShield soliciting with an expired permit.
  • 500 block of Heritage Oak Dr. reported at 6:52 p.m. Complainant reported a solicitor for EcoShield soliciting with an expired permit.

Theft from Vehicle – 1400 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 1:43 p.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) removed approximately $5,000.00 worth of tools from the vehicle’s toolbox.

7/1/2026
Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 3:54 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a known female, and ex-employee entered the store on 6/25, placed multiple items in her cart, changed clothing and placed additional items in her cart then left the store without paying. She removed a total of $147.44 worth of merchandise. A summons was filed for the 46 year old female from LMT for Retail Theft.

Accident & DUI Arrest– Oxford Valley Rd. & Rt. 1 reported at 9:03 p.m. Police responded to the report of a one vehicle accident at the location. Further investigation revealed the 51 year old male driver from Morrisville, PA had been drinking. Charges pending for Driving Under the Influence.

6/30/2026
Fraud – 800 block of S. Crescent Blvd. reported at 7:00 p.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their bank account in the amount of $394.49.

Identity Theft – 2000 block of Trowbridge Dr. reported at 9:49 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a credit union account in their name.

Drug Arrest – Big Oak Rd. & Oxford Valley Rd. reported at 9:47 a.m. Police on patrol observed a disabled vehicle at the location. Upon approaching the driver, who was standing outside of the vehicle in the travel lane, police could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police observed a glass bong in plain view in the center console. The 22 year old male driver from LMT was taken into police custody for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.

Theft – 1800 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 11:09 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) stole light bulbs from their patio lights.

Retail Theft  – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 10:48 a.m. Loss Prevention reported on nine separate occasions between 5/4 – 6/26, a female failed to scan $156.23 worth of items at self-checkout. A records check reveal the address for the female, where police went to question her. She stated the thefts were unintentional. The 70 year old female from LMT was cited for Retail Theft.

6/29/2026
Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 9:20 p.m. Loss Prevention reported on 6/25, an unknown male entered the store and removed three Floor Care vacuums valued at $720.77 without paying. The male fled in a 2001 Toyota Solara. Investigation ongoing.

Traffic Offense– 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. reported at 2:17 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana, two collapsible batons, and an electronic stun gone. The 36 year old male from Willingboro, NJ is a felon and prohibited from possessing these items. A records check revealed the temporary registration on the vehicle was fraudulent. He was taken into police custody and charge with Use/Possession of Fraudulent Documents, Prohibited Possession and Possession of Marijuana. He was arraigned by Judge Kronnagel and released on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.

6/28/2026
Retail Theft– 500 block of W. Trenton Ave. at CVS reported at 10:21 a.m. Manager reported a male removed $22.74 worth of merchandise without paying. The 30 year old male from Trenton, NJ was taken into police custody for Retail Theft. He was arraigned by Judge Baranoski and released on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.

DUI Arrest – Bayley Ln. & Cardinal Dr. reported at 10:36 p.m. Police responded to the report of a domestic on the 500 block of S. Dove Rd., where the female half fled the scene in a vehicle, possibly intoxicated. The vehicle was located at the noted location, where there was a toddler in the vehicle. The 27 year old female driver from Levittown, PA was taken into police custody for Driving Under the Influence.

6/26/2026
Fraud – 1400 block of Clinton Dr. reported at 3:16 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a phone call from an unknown person claiming that their son was in an accident and needed $5,000.00 for legal aid. Caller ended the phone call and did not suffer any financial loss.

Soliciting Without Permit – 1700 block of Cedar Hollow Dr. reported at 3:45 p.m. Complainant reported solicitors for an energy company soliciting without a permit. They were advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.
