The Fairless Hill family that lost their home in fire last week losing everything had a Go Fund Me fundraiser launched to help support and offset the costs of their losses.
The Thursday afternoon fire at the Breezy Acres Trailer Park claimed the lives of two family pets and left the residence uninhabitable, Falls Township fire officials said.
The fundraiser was posted by Stephanie Cappeluti about five days ago and seeks to raise $3000.00.
“I lived in that house for 24 years, along with my father for 40 years and my grandfather for 46 years. All of our belongings got destroyed, including clothes, my daughter’s toys and clothes, important documents, shoes, furniture, literally everything, and nothing was salvageable,” she said.
To date just under $1300 has been raised with people making donations, according to GoFundMe page.
The Red Cross helped the family in the days immediately after the fire by placing the family members at a local hotel.
“Any little bit that we get helps. Please keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time,” Cappeluti said.
Give if you can.
