PennDOT announced that weeknight bridge repair starting in mid-September will close the ramp from BusineIss U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) to eastbound I-295 and restrict lanes on I-295 in Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, September 14, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, the ramp from Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) to eastbound I-295 will be closed and detoured. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway), Woodbourne Road, Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway/Maple Avenue), and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway).
- Monday, September 14, through Friday, October 2, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, alternating lane closures will be in place on I-295 Mondays through Thursdays between Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) and Route 332 (Yardley Newtown Road).
