Bristol Township kicked off celebrating Holiday Season 2022 on Saturday as thousands lined the streets last Saturday.
Here’s a listing of holiday events coming up in the next few weeks in the Lower Bucks area.
On Friday night the Bristol Borough the 2022 Christmas Tree lighting will take place. Local food options, Christmas vendors, a live Nativity scene, Santa Claus & more will be on hand. Thousands fill Mill St for the one of a kind event. Bristol’s own Don McCloskey will be featured performing live, as well as guest Ginger Coyle. Festivities start at 6pm. Free! All are welcome.
On Saturday the Bristol Borough Christmas Parade takes place beginning at 1 pm sharp. There is still time to sign to participate in the procession or be a parade vendor by contacting Ellen Scancella via e-mail at ellentom40@aol.com or by calling her 215-789-0177. Vendors have to pay $35 to take part in the festivities.
On Friday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m the Langhorne Dickens Night event launches sponsored by the Langhorne Borough Business Association. Tree lighting, carolers, bonfire, vendors and more in the Langhorne Park at Maple and South Bellevue avenues. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
On Saturday, Dec. 3rd, beginning at 3:30 p.m. the Yardley Borough Christmas Parade will be held. The parade proceeds via South Main Street and West Afton Avenue, beginning at the American Legion and ending at Buttonwood Park. At the end of the parade Santa will light the tree and have a meet-and-greet for the kids.

On Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 10 a.m. is the Morrisville WinterFest. The parade begins on West Post Road to South Pennsylvania Avenue, Delaware Avenue, Washington Street, East Bridge Street, North Pennsylvania Avenue, West Palmer Street and ends at Morrisville High School.
On Sunday, December 4th 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. is the Newtown Holiday Parade
This parade is a huge event that continues to provide a magical experience for the whole community. Hosted each year by the Newtown Business Association, the parade, which is co-sponsored by McCaffrey’s Food Markets, kicks off at 2 p.m. from South State Street at the Stocking Works. It then continues north to Washington Avenue and makes a left turn, then turns right onto Sycamore Street. The parade eventually ends at the corner of Sycamore Street and Durham Road. Free, rain or shine event.
On December 10 beginning at 5 pm at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building is the Community Tree Lighting and Santa’s Drive-Thru Visit.
