A Bucks County Jury found a Philadelphia man guilty last week for a road rage shooting in Bristol Borough that led to the suspect eluding police in the summer of 2021.

The jury found Angel Cintron, 28 guilty on two counts of aggravated assault, one count of criminal trespass, one count each of reckless endangerment, simple assault, last Wednesday.

The road rage shooting and subsequent stand-off began just after 8 pm on July 6, 2021 ending at around 3:20 am after securing a search warrant then  Bucks County SWAT breached the residence the suspect and his girlfriend were suspected of being in finding no one there.

Cintron, police said, fired several shots at the vehicle he was pursuing after a traffic dispute when leaving a local store. The subsequent chase by borough and township police ended on the 700 block of Pine Street with the suspect and his girlfriend hiding in a neighbors home.

Bristol authorities determined that Cintron had gone to a neighboring residence, pushing his way inside. The neighbor insisted that Cintron leave but he refused. The neighbor, fearing Cintron, fled the residence, however did not alert authorities until questioned at a later date.  It is believed Cintron remained in the residence until early morning the next day until all police assets left Pine Street, police said.

Cintron is expected to face trial on federal gun charges this summer, federal officials did not respond to requests for comment.

He was taken into custody October 4th by the FBI Gang Task Force in Philadelphia.

His sentencing was deferred until until September 26. He is currently housed at the State Correctional Prison Phoenix in Montgomery County.
