Man Wanted by Bristol Police, Arrested By Gang Task Force in Philadelphia

A man wanted by Bristol Borough Police for a  July”Road Rage” shooting and subsequent stand off on Pine Street was arrested in Philadelphia on gun related offenses by a federal task force earlier this week,

Angel Cintron, 26 of Philadelphia was arrested in the city on Monday October 4th by the  FBI Gang Task Force Bristol authorities said in a press release.

Cintron was alleged to be in possession of firearms when he was arrested.

In July, Cintron is alleged to have shot several rounds of gun fire at a man in another vehicle on Rt 13 in Bristol which led to a hours long stand off involving the Bucks County Major Incident Response Team (MIRT).

Police were eventually able to secure a search warrant for the residence and the MIRT made entry into the residence and found it empty.

Subsequent investigation by Bristol authorities determined that Cintron had gone to a neighboring residence and forced his way inside. The neighbor insisted that Cintron leave but the suspect refused.  The neighbor ,fearing Cintron, however, did not alert authorities until questioned at a later time.

It is believed Cintron remained in the residence until early morning the next day until all police assets left Pine Street, police said.

Cintron has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal trespass, recklessly endangerment and several other offenses in the Bristol Borough case.

He is currently being held in Philadelphia and will eventually be transferred to Bucks County to answer to the charges.
