Police and first responders were dispatched at just after 5:30 pm for a reported bomb threat at the Ross Dress for Less outlet at theย Levittown Town Center in Tullytown Wednesday night.
Multiple first responder sources confirmed the threat to Lower Bucks Source.
The then potential hazard reportedly originated from a square of toilet paper founds in the Ross mens bathroom that said, “there’s a bomb.”
First responders cleared the area and said they didn’t find any packages left behind.
A strip mall employee before the threat was confirmed,ย said in response to media questionsย ‘I’m not allowed to talk about it.”
The commotion happening during the last days of “Back to School” sales and shopping brought a heavy law enforcement presence said a commenter.
” I walked into walmart and saw all of them down by the liquor store and down. It was blocked off and lots of cops. But going in and out of Walmart was no issue” said a commenter on social media.
As of 9:30 pm no official word to confirm or deny what sources told Lower Bucks Source about the alleged threat was released.
Overall annoyance and snarky comments appeared on social media after the area was cleared.
“It was a real sh***y situation one first responder who asked to remain anonymous said, wasting resources like that.
The double irony was not lost on Lower Bucks Source readers either.
