One Dead in 2-Car Collision on Trenton Rd; Alcohol is a Factor, Cops say



One man is dead, another sustained non-life threatening injuries in a Saturday night crash on Trenton Road in Falls Township, which police say alcohol played a role in.
The accident occurred around 10 pm last night on the 800 block of Trenton Road, in Fairless Hills, police say.
The preliminary accident investigation determined that a male motorist was traveling along the 800 block of Trenton Road, toward North Oxford Valley Road, without his headlights on and subsequently struck a vehicle which was in the process of backing into a driveway,Falls Police said.
He slammed into the vehicle which was backing into a driveway, according to crash investigators.




A woman who identified herself as the daughter of the motorist pulling out of the Trenton Road driveway, posted to a Falls Twp centered social media page “please keep my dad in your thoughts. He was T-boned and I just found out they’re rushing him to St Mary’s.
The male operator of the struck vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said
Alcohol use by the deceased operator is believed to be a factor in the collision, police said.
Identification of the deceased is pending notification of next of kin.
