The family of the 14 year-old Bensalem middle school student shot and killed Tuesday night launched an effort to defray end of life costs.
The family of Peter Romano, a student at Snyder Middle School and a Bensalem resident who was killed last night is asking for the communities help to defray costs and last arrangements for the young man.
“The Romano family is asking for donations to help raise money for Peter’s Funeral arrangements. Peter was a 14 year old boy who enjoyed doing everything a 14 year old boy loved to do. A sudden loss, like is very heavy and devastating. All donations are appreciated. We thank you for all your help,” reads the post on Go Fund Me.
Bensalem Police responded to the area of Bristol Pike and Woodbine Avenue for reports of a large group of juveniles fighting. Upon arrival, Bensalem Police found three shooting victims at that location, one of which was Romano who died on arrival.
Linda Bront-Romano is now managing the effort for her uncle, Peter’s father as he is understandably devastated by the loss of his son, she said.

Bensalem Police provided very little new information on the now triple -shooting homicide investigation.
What they did say is “(t)his is an active investigation involving the Bensalem Township Police Department, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, and the Bensalem Township School District. We are utilizing all resources at our disposal to identify and arrest any persons who may be involved in this shooting and homicide.”
This a developing story. Look for updates from Lower Bucks Source as new information becomes available.
