A Morrisville man died Saturday as a result of a two-vehicle crash in Falls Township.
On Saturday, November 18, at approximately 2:50 p.m., Falls Township Police were dispatched to the intersection of Pine Grove Road and West Trenton Avenue, Morrisville, to investigate a two-vehicle traffic accident with injuries, officials said.
The preliminary investigation determined that a Polaris Slingshot, operated by a 50 year -old male resident of Morrisville, was traveling along West Trenton Avenue through the intersection when he struck a Volvo SUV operated by a 72 year -old female resident of Lower Makefield Township, who was turning left onto Pine Grove Road, said police.
As a result of the collision, the operator of the Slingshot sustained critical injuries. He was transported to Capital Health, New Jersey, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries, said Lt Chris Clark
The operator of the SUV sustained minor injuries for which she was transported to Saint Mary Medical Center, said police.
At this time alcohol, drugs or a medical emergency are not believed to be factors in causation, said police.
