A pedestrian was struck and killed early Friday morning in the Morrisville section of Falls Township and motorist impairment is believed to be a factor in causation, police said.
Police were dispatched for a struck pedestrian report, 250 block of West Trenton Avenue, around 2:45 a.m.
The preliminary investigation determined, said Lieutenant Christopher Clark, that a 22-year-old male resident of Levittown, Falls Township, operating a silver 2017 Toyota Yaris, struck a 34-year-old Morrisville man.
The struck pedestrian suffered critical injures, and was transported to Capital Health Regional, where he succumbed to same within the hour, Lt. Clark said.
