Lower Makefield Twp Police Reports: June 7, 2024 – June 13, 2024
6/13/2024 – Criminal Mischief – Bluestone Dr. & Tall Meadow Ln. reported at 2:40 a.m. Complainant reported toilet paper in trees.
6/13/2024 – Attempted Burglary – 200 block of Rock Run Rd. reported at 11:18 a.m. Police responded to the report of a burglary in progress at the location. The homeowner reported hearing glass break and observing two unknown males dressed in black hoodies with yellow safety vests and gloves attempting to enter the residence via a basement window. They fled in a silver Chrysler Pacifica minivan with a NJ tag. The same minivan was observed on Pondview Ct. a short time later scraping stickers off the van and switching the license plate. Investigation ongoing.
6/13/2024 – Tobacco Sale Violation – 500 block of Washington Crossing Rd. at Village Marker reported at 12:03 p.m. Complainant reported sale of tobacco products to an underage person. Village Market cited.
6/13/2024 – Identity Theft – 200 block of Parkside Ave. reported at 12:51 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) opened a car insurance policy in their name.
6/12/2024 – Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 7:40 p.m. Loss Prevention reported a known female committed retail thefts on 5/6 and 6/7. Same female attempted to commit theft on this date, but paid when confronted. Investigation ongoing.
6/11/2024 -Fraud – 1300 block of Violetwood Ct. reported at 10:31 a.m. Complainant reported hiring Home Repair LLC to complete work on their residence that was damaged by a hail storm. The insurance check was cashed, but the work has not been completed. The company has not responded to the homeowner’s attempts to contact them. Investigation ongoing.
6/10/2024 – Identity Theft – 800 block of Big Oak Rd. reported at 11:16 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used their information to open an online bank account.
6/10/2024 – Solicitors – Hudson Dr. & Schuyler Rd. reported at 6:10 p.m. Police observed a damaged vehicle with its hazards on at the location and did a well check. It was determined the individual was soliciting for Sunny Mac without a permit. They were obtained to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.
6/9/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 1700 block of Langhorne-Yardley Rd. at Edgewood Café reported at 6:57 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) poured 15-20 gallons of combustible fluid all over the building. Investigation ongoing.
6/9/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 2000 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 11:47 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) scratched the windshields on two of their vehicles.
6/7/2024 – Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 11:34 a.m. Loss Prevention reported retail theft in progress. The 49 year old female from LMT was taken into police custody for taking over $600.00 worth of merchandise without paying. She was arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel and released on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.
