A Philadelphia duo were charged with robbery, simple assault, and related offenses for what started out as an early Sunday morning “road rage” report.
According to the court records, Bensalem Police were dispatched to Rockhill Drive and Horizon Boulevard just after 10:15 am Sunday morning. The robbery, occurred at 4412 Old Lincoln Highway, with two suspects, described as a white male and black female, fleeing the area in a black Land Rover that had a Pennsylvania registration.
Bensalem officers spoke with a male victim who said he was involved in a road rage incident in which the duo, in the Land Rover, followed him to his driveway, punched him, and slammed him with a bottle of car cleaner causing facial and dental injuries, court records show. The suspects, Roseanna Zampirri, 21, and Seth Gorden, 20, fled the area with the victim’s cell phone in the Land Rover, police said.

Police performed a search for the vehicle, finding it parked in the rear of Cracker Barrel on Horizon Blvd. As police approached, Gorden ran across the boulevard into a wooded area, police said, where he was taken into custody a short time later. Zampirri was taken into custody without incident. Both were positively identified by the victim, police noted in court records.
Gorden’s bail was set at 10 percent of $150,000.00 on Sunday but after a hearing today, it was reduced to 10 percent of $50,000 according to online court records. Zampirri was released on unsecured bail with both scheduled for an August 8 court date in front of Judge Joseph P. Falcone at Bensalem District Court,
