A burglary suspect wanted by police made the job of finding and arresting him much easier Tuesday night when police located the suspect sitting in a vehicle in the area of the Breezy Access Trailer Park getting high, police said.

A patrol unit observed Andrew Keough, 32 of Fairless Hills sitting in a vehicle with his lights off, on July 30 at approximately 11:23 p.m., court records allege.

The officer ordered Keough out of the vehicle and taken into custody.ย  A search incident to his arrest revealed two Percocet pills and a clear glass cannister containing white powder residue. Keough admitted that cocaine was in the container and said there was more cocaine in the vehicle. He consented to a search of the vehicle by police.

In plain view on the driver’s seat was a glass pipe with a burnt end. The officer said, through his training and experience, he was able to identify the pipe to be used to smoke crystalized substances, such as methamphetamine or “crack” cocaine. The officer also located a number of glass containers on the passenger side seat. These containers held white rock substance. Through his training and experience, he was able to identify the substance as “crack” cocaine.

Falls Township Police earlier filed an arrest warrant for Keoughย  forย  a break in at The Raven Pub, 250 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills. Police were informed by the owner that early in the morning, subjects forced entry, damaging doors and took a skill game payout machine containing a large amount of US currency. He told police, the cleaning crew informed him that morning about the breaking and entering, said police.

Pry marks and damage were observed on the east-side door frames. A table just past the doors was flipped. The owner showed police where the redemption machine was located and informed police he had video surveillance inside and outside the property. The owner later provided an estimate for repairs totaling a little over $8200, the probable cause says.

Police reviewed the July 17 surveillance footage which told the following: At approximately 5:53 a.m., a black Toyota Tacoma pickup pulled into the Raven’s parking lot after traveling north on Lincoln Highway. The tailgate was down obscuring the registration plate, and eight minutes after pulling into the lot, the truck moved to the east-side doors. Two people exited the truck and used pry bars to force their way into the business. Once inside, they went directly to the redemption machine and both carried the machine towards the door. They exited the business without the machine, said police in regards to the review.

The video surveillance continued to show at approximately 6:04 a.m., the two left, got into the truck, exited the parking lot and traveled south on Harding Drive. At approximately 6:08 a.m., a gray Toyota pickup truck drove north on Harding Dr.ย  The man got out of the gray truck and walked towards the Raven. Not able to gain entry, the man left. A few minutes later, the black Tacoma returned to the parking lot and parked near the east-side doors. This time, the original two people exited the truck and a third subject, identified as Andrew Keough, 34 of the 100 block on Hoover Drive, Fairless Hills, exited from the rear driver side. The driver pried the door open again and the trio entered the building. They picked up the redemption machine and put it in the bed of the black truck. They then drove off, exited the parking lot and traveled north on Lincoln Hwy., shown in the video surveillance footage, police said.

Later, on July 17 at approximately 12:05 p.m., the black truck was located on the unit block of Kennedy Dr, a short distance from Keough’s residence. The vehicle left and was located at Oxford Valley Road and Lincoln Hwy. The truck was followed by police into the Wawa on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road.ย  Two people occupied the truck and the bedliner had scratch marks, The passenger got out and according to police, had the same red mark on his face as shown in the video surveillance footage. The police officer also checked license plate readers, which showed the black truck at approximately 6:28 a.m., at Street Road and the I-95 ramps with the tailgate up showing the registration plate and the redemption machine in the truck’s bed, said in the affidavit.

The machine is valued at $14,500 and it had $4,600 in the machine. The total loss of the machine is $19,100,ย  as told to police by an employee who services the machine.

Keough was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Gary Gambardella and charged with nine felonies, two counts each of overnight burglary, criminal trespass, unlawful taking, receiving stolen property. He was also charged with one count of damaging property. His bail was set for 10% of $200,000.00. Unable to post bail, he was remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility (BCCF).ย  His preliminary hearing is currently set for August 14 to appear in front of Judge John T. Galloway. He has no attorney of record, according to online court documents.
