7/31/2024 – Fraud – 200 block of Clover Hill Ct. reported at 6:45 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) intercepted a mailed check, altered it, and cashed it.
7/30/2024 – Fraud – 1100 block of University Dr. reported at 7:23 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a text from someone claiming to be their boss requesting them to buy a $500.00 Apple Gift Card. After purchasing the gift card and sending the information to the phone number, they realized it was a scam.
7/29/2024 – Fraud – 2300 block of Brookhaven Dr. reported at 1:12 p.m. Complainant reported sending $500 via Venmo for a vehicle to someone he believed to be a Facebook friend. The friend’s account was hacked.
7/27/2024 – Criminal Trespass – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 9:18 p.m. Police on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle at the construction site. Further investigation revealed new construction material in the back of the pickup truck. Investigation ongoing.
7/26/2024- Motor Vehicle Theft – 2200 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 5:48 a.m. Complainant reported theft of their 2008 Lexus IS250 sometime overnight.
7/26/24 -Theft from Vehicle – 2200 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 9:41 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered their trailer and removed a TV and construction equipment.
7/26/24 -Theft from Vehicle – 500 block of Palmer Farm Dr. reported at 11:16 a.m. Complainant reported theft of license plate from the vehicle sometime overnight.
7/26/24 -Theft from Vehicle -2100 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 10:44 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed AirPods.
>/26/24 -Theft from Vehicle – 500 block of Franklin Cir. reported at 2:16 p.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed loose change and the garage door remote.
7/26/24 -Theft from Vehicle – 2000 block of Polo Run Dr. reported at 3:54 p.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a toolbox. Another vehicle on scene was rummaged through, but nothing reported missing at this time.
