PSP Trooper Reports Trevose Barracks for October and November 2o25
Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) – Trevose Barracks responded to several traffic accidents in October and November including one on Thanksgiving.
10/17/2025 – Lower Makefield Township
The accident occurred as a 2011 Honda CRV was traveling east in the left lane of I-295 East. A 2025 Ram 1500 RH vehicle failed to navigate a left-hand curve, striking the Honda, which was in the center lane. This impact caused the CRV to spin, cross the right lane, and hit the guide rail before coming to a stop facing west. The Ram continued east in the right lane for approximately 1/10 of a mile before stopping on the shoulder. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and had to be towed. The 48-year-old male driver of the Ram fled the scene on foot, crossing the Scudder Falls Bridge into New Jersey. He was later apprehended by local law enforcement and suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. No injuries were reported. Emilie’s Auto Repair and Towing removed both vehicles from the scene, and the incident is under investigation by PSP – Trevose.
10/29/25 – Langhorne Borough
A two-vehicle accident occurred on SR 413 North Pine Street at East Winchester Avenue, Langhorne Borough. The collision occurred as a Chevy Express turned left onto East Winchester Avenue. As the vehicle was turning, a Toyota Rav4 was traveling north on North Pine Street, passing a vehicle on the right who was stopped at the intersection. The Rav4 then struck the Chevy Express as it was turning. Both units sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene by Penndel Towing. No injuries were reported. A citation was issued to the male Rav4 driver for this crash.
10/31/25 – Bristol Township
A single vehicle crash occurred on I-295 East as the 34-year-old female driver was traveling eastbound in the left lane. She lost control of her 2005 Chevrolet Uplander on a curve for an unknown reason. She crossed into the right lane and struck the right guide rail. The vehicle spun and came to a stop facing west on the right shoulder of the east-bound lanes. The driver was transported by ambulance for the evaluation of suspected minor injuries
11/4/25 – Lower Makefield Township
The driver escaped injury when his Toyota Corolla collided with a deer that ran onto I-295 West without warning at approximately 7:15 p.m., causing extensive front-end damage.
11/5/2025 – Bensalem Township
This accident occurred at approximately 8:42 p.m. at the Cornwells Heights Park and Ride Parking Lot.. A 2015 Yamaha YZF-R3 sport motorcycle was traveling in the parking lot speeding and struck a curb. The 19-year-old male motorcyclist was transported to Jefferson Torresdale prior to police arrival.
11/7/2025 – Bensalem Township
A three-vehicle accident occurred on the I-95 North to Street Road off-ramp. A 2009 Ford F-550 was traveling on I-95 North and veered onto the off-ramp to Street Road. The vehicle did not brake from traffic on the off-ramp and hit a 2016 Toyota Camry from behind, pushing the Toyota into a 2021 Nissan NV1500 as they were stopped at the traffic signal controlling the intersection ahead. The 44-year-0ld male driver of the F-550 was found to be under the influence of alcohol and taken into custody for suspicion of DUI without incident. The 42-year-old female driver of the Camry was transported from the scene by ambulance for suspected minor injuries. The 39-year-old driver of the Nissan was uninjured. PSP-Trevose is investigating.
11/8/2025 – Bensalem Township
A hit and run accident involving three vehicles occurred as a dark unknown vehicle traveled north on Bristol Pike, a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis traveled south on Bristol Pike, and a 2015 Honda CRV exited Woodhaven Road west and prepared to merge onto Bristol Pike south. As the two vehicles on Bristol Pike approached a steady green traffic signal, the dark unknown vehicle’s driver made an unsafe left turn. Subsequently, the black unknown vehicle hit the Mercury which spun counter-clockwise, hitting the Honda. The dark unknown vehicle then fled westbound on Woodhaven Road, failing to help the other drivers. No description of the driver, vehicle make/model, or vehicle registration was available. No injuries were reported at the scene.
11/9/25 – Lower Makefield Township
The accident occurred as the driver of a Chevy Malibu was traveling eastbound on I-295 in the left lane. According to PSP, the driver was distracted by a hand-held mobile phone, causing the vehicle to veer into the grassy median. The car struck a tree, spun clockwise, and rolled onto its driver’s side, hitting a fence in the center median before flipping and landing upright on Langhorne Yardley Road. The driver was evaluated by Yardley-Makefield EMS for minor injuries but declined transport.
11/13/25 – Bensalem Township
The collision occurred at approximately 5:12 a.m. on I-95 South when the driver lost control and struck the concrete barrier. The 2017 Nissan sustained disabling damage and stopped at the point of impact. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Rob’s Towing.
11/16/2025 – Lower Makefield Township
The crash occurred as the vehicle traveled in the left lane of I-295 East at a speed unsuitable for the wet roadway conditions. The male driver lost control, veered into the grassy left median, and continued for approximately 100 feet before colliding head-on with a crash cushion. Before PSP’s arrival, the driver fled the scene in the vehicle, heading in an unknown direction.
11/19/2025 – Bensalem Township
A 33-year-old female lost control while driving in the right lane on I-95 at Street Road. She declined transport to a medical facility after her 2022 Honda Accord hit the right-side guide rail.
11/27/25 – Middletown Township
A 24-year-old female driver lost control of her 2010 Subaru Forester while driving in the left lane on I-295 East. She veered off the roadway into a grassy median. The vehicle continued across the grassy median before striking a tree and a fence. It continued up a raised embankment, became airborne and overturned. The Subaru then landed on its passenger side in a shallow creek located beneath 1-95. Penndel-Middletown EMS arrived on scene and removed the driver from the overturned vehicle.
