Representative Brian Fitzpatrick A(PA-1) recently announced he was able to secure $635,000.00 for the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) program in Bucks County.
The funding for BBBS will be used for facilities renovation, modernization, and expansion, as well as for the creation of a mentoring hub to benefit youth directly. As well as benefiting at-risk children who need positive role models and mentorship programs, this project will also benefit the community as a whole. Bucks County BBBS has been connecting volunteer adult mentors with children to develop relationships that have a direct and positive effect on their lives for over 60 years. With this $635,000 investment, BBBS programs will strengthen our community and benefit our underserved youth during a critical period of their lives, said Fitzpatrick in his e-letter to the public.
In closing words of the e-letter, he encourages all to engage with his office actively and often so that your input can be heard. The House of Representatives is the People’s House and is owned by you. Please engage frequently with our team so that we can best reflect your voice.
His Langhorne office phone number is (215) 579-8102.
