Bristol Township Police in the latter part of 2022 were investigating a now deceased man for possible drug related offenses and wound up discovering a local woman allegedly distributing methamphetamine.
Jennifer M. McCloskey, 41, of Levittown, was charged and arraigned Monday on one count of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver by Magisterial District Judge Kevin P. Wagner who set an unsecured bail.
Township police were investigating the 2022 activities of a now deceased man from September to December. The man in question had at least seven drug related arrests/convictions between 2013 and 202o. Police searched his apartment, while still on probation for misdemeanor offenses and found a zip lock bag containing just under one gram of methamphetamine in his Levittown apartment, court records show.
Cell phones were also recovered at the man’s home of which the contents held communications via a social media messaging application between the man and a “Jennifer ***** “where the alleged delivery and purchase of the powerful drug was discussed and completed,
Police investigated the “Jennifer” profile finding it was used by McCloskey, police said.
On September 27 of 2022, according to police, she admitted distributing the “meth” to the deceased man who died in early 2023.
McCloskey waived her right to a preliminary hearing in an appearance at district court on Oct 8. She is currently scheduled for a pre-trial guilty plea conference on December 12, according to court records.
