SCORE Bucks County to Offer 10 Free Biz Workshops in September

In an ongoing effort to keep the small business community informed, SCORE Bucks County announced they will offer 10 educational workshops for entrepreneurs and business owners in September.

The online webinars feature a wide range of insightful topics for every stage of the entrepreneur’s business journey, including finding retail space for your business; setting up a new business entity; creating a nonprofit organization; and more. See the September calendar here.

By combining resources among 30 local chapters in the Mid-Atlantic region – throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC – the chapters can collectively offer many more online workshops. On average, 15 webinars will be available monthly, all free of charge. Most webinars will be led by local chapter experts.

In addition to providing online educational offerings, SCORE volunteers provide no-cost one-on-one mentoring in-person, online or by phone and email. Mentors have expertise in various business-related backgrounds, from finance and accounting to business operations, information technology, marketing, and more, making it easy to pair clients with the expert in their industry. BCCC Seeks Public Input on Nursing Program

Bucks County Community College (BCCC) invites public input as it seeks to continue accreditation for its Associate Degree Nursing Program.

The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) will be visiting the Newtown Campus Tuesday – Thursday, March 24 – 26, as part of the accreditation process.

The visit includes a forum from 2 – 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 in Founders Hall Room 140, where the public is invited to share comments about the two-year program that prepares students to become registered nurses.
