Falls Township decided some parking restrictions could be removed and voted on an amendment to a parking restriction ordinance.
The Falls Supervisors on Monday voted unanimously to remove parking restrictions from a number of roads. The changes were put forth in consultation with the Falls Township Police Department, which agreed to the removal of parking restrictions, said township attorney Lauren Gallagher.
Under the parking amendments, Gallagher said, motorists can now park on Vermillion Way from Trenton Road to Vermont Lane, a change Supervisor Brian Galloway said was โa long time coming.โ
A number of roadways had required permit parking during school hours, which has since been rescinded under the change. Those roads are: Barberry Lane from Black Pine Lane to Buttonwood Lane; Buttonwood Lane No. 88; Bluespruce Lane from Birch Drive to and including address No. 82; Bluespruce Lane from address No. 101 to and including No. 69; Briaroot Lane from Birch Drive to and including address No. 80; Briaroot Lane from Birch Drive to and including address No. 75; Black Pine Lane from Upper Birch Drive to and including No. 42; Black Pine Lane from Upper Birch Drive to and including No. 37; and Upper Bird Drive from Black Pine Lane to the Township Line, said Gallagher.
