Lower Makefield Twp Police Reports – Sept 27, 2024 – Oct 3, 2024

10/3/2024  – Theft From Vehicle  – 900 block of Greenway Ave. reported at 8:40 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a driver’s license, medical marijuana card, and debit card.

10/3/2024  – Attempted Theft From Vehicle – Unit block of Arborlea Ave. reported at 9:21 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing reported missing at this time.

10/3/24 – Theft – 200 block of Kathy Dr. reported at 10:21 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) hacked into their email and Coinbase app and withdrew $1,949.00. There was an attempt to withdraw $10,000.00 but put on hold due to the large amount.

10/3/24 – Fraud – Unit block of W. Ferry Rd. reported at 7:13 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) using their child’s identity to raise money online.

10/1/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – Unit block of Effingham Rd. reported at 10:07 a.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $4,000 worth of tools.

10/1/2024 – Criminal Mischief – 1300 block Heller Dr. reported at 7:59 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) damaged their political signs.

9/30/2024 – Fraud – Unit block of Bedford Pl. reported at 4:31 p.m. Complainant reported receiving an alert on their laptop stating their computer was compromised and advised them to contact Apple. The victim called who they believed to be Apple, and they were advised their credit card was used on an online dating website for $7,000.00. The victim then followed instructions and drove around to several different stores, purchasing 23 $250.00 gift cards and provided them to the caller.

9/30/2024 – Criminal Mischief – Washington Crossing Rd. & Lindenhurst Rd. reported at 9:26 p.m. Complainant reported political sign on fire on the side of the road.

9/29/2024 – Identity Theft – 100 block of W. College Ave. reported at 9:43 a.m. Complainant reported receiving an alert from Experian that an unknown person was using their social security number with a different name.

9/29/2024 – Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 2:27 p.m. Police responded to the report of a retail theft in progress. Police located a male in the woods and a female in a car on the side of the highway. The 25 year old female from Brooklyn, NY and the 20 year old male from Albany, NY were taken into police custody for Retail Theft. They were arraigned by District Justice Gallagher and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

9/28/2024 – Theft From Vehicle – 1200 block of Evergreen Rd. reported at 1:25 p.m. Complainant reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicles and removed loose change. Another vehicle was rummaged through, but nothing reported missing.

9/27/2024 – Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Shop Rite reported at 5:06 p.m. Police responded to the report of a repeat offender in the store. Loss Prevention stopped the suspect outside, where police were waiting. The 58 year old female from Philadelphia, PA was taken into police custody. She was charged with 21 counts of Retail Theft and 21 counts of Receiving Stolen Property. She was arraigned by District Justice Gallagher and released on $30,000 unsecured bail.
