A Bristol Township man spent a few days in jail recently charged with felony criminal mischief and terroristic threats for an incident that in many ways remains a mystery of sorts.
According to Bristol Township Police, on Friday December 21, 2024, Keiran Cottrell, 19 of Bristol, threatened to kill a man at the Sunoco, 1231 Veterans Highway. for reasons not outlined in the probable cause.
Cottrell, according to police, entered the gas station attempting to purchase a nicotine device. He then exited and allegedly scratched the paint of a BMW, belonging to a second victim, scratching the paint.
The total for the damage was valued at $5,673.50, police said in court records.
Cottrell was arrested and jailed 10 days later and remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $30.000 bail. He was able to post bond after a Court of Common Pleas Judge reduced the bail amount to 10 percent of $10,000.
He is scheduled to appear for a court date on January 14.
