2/2/25 – 3:47 a.m., 300 block Radcliffe St., Alex Frey, age 20, Bristol, PA, arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, he will be summoned to court to answer said charges.

2/2/25 – 5:49 p.m., 300 block Brook St., Ciara Anderson, age 21, Bristol, PA, cited for disorderly conduct.

2/5/25 – 3:00 p.m., Jefferson Avenue Basketball Courts, two juveniles cited for harassment.

2/6/25 – 3:10 p.m., Jefferson Avenue Basketball Courts, two juveniles cited for disorderly conduct.

2/9/25 – 4:28 p.m., 1900 block Wilson Ave., Craig Reiss, age 30, Bristol, PA, arrested for aggravated assault, possessing instruments of crime, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, he was sent to Bucks County Prison and will be summoned to answer said charges.

2/11/25 – 11:50 a.m., 300 block Jefferson Ave., Wendy Lee Rau, age 65, Bristol, PA, arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, She was also wanted on a bench warrant. She was released to Bucks County Prison and will be summoned to answer said charges.

2/11/25 – 2:39 p.m., 300 Route 13, Harrison Michael Fine, age 39, Croydon, PA, cited for criminal trespass.

2/12/25 – 2:17 p.m., 75 Commerce Circle, Anthony Rosario, age 26, Philadelphia, PA, cited for disorderly practices.

2/13/25 – 9:27 a.m., 194 Commerce Circle, Rakeem Jamal Rankins, age 33, Bristol, PA, cited for disorderly practices.

2/15/25 – 10:00 a.m., warrant arrest, 200 block Wood St., Scott Kunkle, age 32, no fixed address, arrested and custody turned over to Bucks County Sheriff’s Dept.

2/16/25 – 8:05 p.m., Swain St., Stephanie Pond, age 49, Levittown, PA, cited for disorderly practices.

2/21/25 – 3:02 p.m., 450 Beaver St., juvenile cited for Borough Ordinance Violation.

2/24/25 – 10:00 a.m., Lafayette St. & Pear St., Yvonne Vink, age 45, Feasterville-Trevose, PA, cited for disorderly conduct.

2/26/25 – 12:00 p.m., 400 block Dorrance St., Destiny DeLong, age 37, Bristol, PA and Dana Snyder, age 37, Bristol, PA, both arrested for an incident that occurred December 8, 2024, both charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Both will be summoned to court to answer said charges.

2/26/25 – 7:00 p.m., warrant arrest, 576 Bristol Pike, Brandon Michael White, age 37, Bensalem, PA, arrested and custody turned over to Bucks County Sheriff’s Dept.

Fitzpatrick Announces $2 Million Federal Grant for New Fire Station

Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick a Republican (PA -1) attended Monday night’s Bristol Borough Council meeting to announce he secured a $2 million federal grant Bristol’s new yet to be built centralized consolidated fire station.

“Last night, I was proud to attend the Bristol Borough Council meeting to formally deliver great news: $2 million in federal funding has been secured for Bristol’s new consolidated fire station” Fitzpatrick said in a statement.

The congressman said he and and borough officials had been meeting in recent months to discuss the needs of the of borough first responders. And that one issue was clear: firefighters were operating out of four aging facilities that no longer meet the demands of modern emergency response

Fitzpatrick said a single, centralized fire station that will strengthen coordination, improve efficiency, and reduce response times when seconds matter most was identified as a priority was included in the FY26 federal funding package so we could bring this vision to life.

The new centralized station will replace the outdated facilities with a modern, centralized hub for fire and emergency response, supporting both volunteer and career firefighters, officials have said.

The new fire station will include on-site living accommodations and with plans to house a Bucks County Rescue Squad substation, strengthening readiness and emergency coverage across the Borough and throughout Bucks County, officials said.

Fitzpatrick said, his office is working across the aisle so to speak, with state Rep Tina Davis’ office to secure as much funding as possible so there will be no cost to Bristol taxpayers.

Davis and state Senator Steve Santarsiero, just before the holiday season kicked off into full gear last year, announced a $1 million grant for the fire station.

Officials have estimated a $1o million price tag for the new centralized fire station. So far from state and federal grants the Borough has $3.7 million to get the project started.

Bristol Borough Fire Association President Steve Reeves said Borough first responders were truly grateful tp Fitzpatrick for his work on securing the funds for the station.

Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe said he was determined to get the project moving forward.

“Just just for the record, we don’t have a firehouse design yet, but we’re very close. We’re working on a few issues,” he said.

The funds come from the 2026 fiscal year federal funding package recently passed by Congress.

“I can’t think of a more worthy project” Fitzpatrick said.

Bristol Borough Fire Chiefs Statement on Dorrance Street Fire

Bristol Borough Fire Chief Herb Slack on Tuesday morning released the following statement on last nights Dorrance Street Fire.

It’s only been edited for style:

At 6:11 PM, Bristol Borough Fire Companies were dispatched to 340 Dorrance St for a dwelling fire with possible entrapment. The first arriving fire chief found two semi-detached dwellings with exposures on both sides. He immediately asked for the second alarm because of the volume of fire in the two dwellings and rapidly spreading to the exposures.

Fire companies quickly stretched hose lines to protect the exposures and begin extinguishing the fire in the two dwelling. A third alarm was added for additional manpower.

During fire fighting operations, it was determined that there was a one resident had not gotten out of the dwelling. Due to the intense fire, with the first floors fully involved, firefighters were not able to enter the dwelling to attempt to rescue a residents who was wheel-chair bound and had been unable to escape. There was one additional civilian injury and that person was transported to the hospital with possible smoke inhalation. There were no firefighter injuries.

Fire was placed under control at 7:39 PM. Fire companies remained on location for several hours due to the extensive overhauling to ensure the fire was extinguished. The last fire company left at 11:26 PM.

Mutual aid companies supporting fire fighting operations including fire companies from Bristol Township, Bensalem, Falls Township, Middletown Township, Morrisville and Burlington County.

The fire remains under investigation by Bristol Borough and the Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office.
