Jeffrey Weikel was arraigned by On-Call Judge Joseph P. Falcone who set the Bensalem mans bail at 10 percent of $10 Million.
Weikel was charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of discharging a firearm into a structure, four counts of misdemeanor terroistic threats, one count of reckless endangerment and one count of criminal mischief with a mandatory mental health evaluation by Judge Falcone.
He was remanded to Bucks County Correctional as he was unable to post bond.
Benesalem Police released additional information about the incident with a second press release Saturday afternoon,
SWAT negotiators were able to determine that the shooters family was in the basement of the home. SWAT members evacuated the family members to safety before making contact with Weikel, who surrendered to authorities later on.

Bensalem Police arrested a local man and charged him with aggravated assault and related offenses early Saturday morning for a shooting incident early this morning. .
Police responded to a shots fired report on the 2100 block of Dunksferry Road just after 4:15, according to the Bucks County Emergency Alert System. The alert system said up to six shots were fired.
Bucks County South SWAT team along with EMS personnel were dispatched to the scene also.
Officers immediately responded and began evacuating nearby residents from their homes. According to police, the suspect then fired more shots in the direction of officers who had to take cover.
A home across the street was struck with several rounds, but no one was injured, Police said.
The team was able to get the shooters family out of the home, and then made contact with the shooter, who was identified as Jeffrey Weikel, 52 of Bensalem.
Investigators convinced Weikel to exit his home unarmed, and he was taken into custody without further incident.
Police determined that Weikel fired multiple rounds from an AK-47 assault rifle and shotgun, officials said in a release.
Weikel, said Bensalem authorities will be charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and related offenses.
In a press release Bensalem police said no injuries occurred, and thanked the quick response of the Bucks County South SWAT team and EMS personnel to help resolve the incident, which could have been much worse, they said.
The reasons for the shooting prior to police arriving on scene is unknown presently.
