The Bensalem Township Police Motor Patrol Unit has begun patrols for motorcycles and ATVs illegally riding on private property and roadways authorities announced.
“We have taken a zero-tolerance stance on this type of activity. If you are found to be riding in violation of Pennsylvania laws, we will seize your motorcycle or ATV, and you will be cited for any violations, no matter your age,” said public safety officials.
The Bensalem Township Police Motor Patrol Unit will utilize police ATVs, drones, and other technology to identify, locate, seize, and cite anyone engaged in this illegal activity, said authorities.
The patrol unit began ATV patrols in numerous township areas, including Grove Avenue, Tremont Avenue, Eddington, Dinosaur Lake, and Ramblers Field. Officers will continue patrols on various days of the week, at different times, and across multiple township areas, police wrote on their Meta page.
The police department warned parents, that “You will be responsible for your children’s actions, including paying all fines. It would benefit you to talk with your kids and let them know that riding on roadways and private property is against the law, and you should discourage this type of activity.
