A deceased man’s body discovered in a Morrisville Borough alleyway remains a mystery of sorts Easter Sunday night as results from an autopsy have yet to be released.
Police activity was seen on the 400 block of West Bridge Street Saturday morning stretching into the early afternoon hours, tipsters told Lower Bucks Source on Saturday.
Chief of Police Rich Ciampi, since taking over running operations, has been fairly consistent in providing borough residents with police/public safety related information while investigations have been active and current. At just after 7 a.m. this morning, Corporeal Lew Halas responded to a request for information which was followed up with a social media post on the department’s Meta page

Halas said police were dispatched around 10:05 a.m. for a possibly deceased male and confirming the man had expired shortly thereafter.
“Due to the nature of the incident along with this being an ongoing investigation, there is no further update on this case” Halas said.
A law enforcement source told Lower Bucks Source that an autopsy had been scheduled. He added that at the scene where the body was discovered, Morrisville Borough Police officers saw no apparent injuries. Witnesses who were in the area when police arrived on scene commented similarly.
Witnesses that may have seen or heard anything in the above area in the hours of 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday morning are asked to please contact the Morrisville Police or submit a tip on CrimeWatch. You can click here to do so.
