Body of Dead Woman Discovered in Parked Vehicle in Bristol Wed Evening

Bristol Borough Police and area first responders were on scene to investigate the death of a woman discovered in a parked vehicle on the in the area of of Hayes Street and Wilson Avenue, one block away from Bristol High School, Wednesday evening.

Community sources told Lower Bucks Source that the woman’s body was discovered when a pedestrian walked by the vehicle she was in and was concerned about apparent items of value in the vehicle. They tried to wake her up and received no response. Police were quickly dispatched to the scene just before 6 p.m. arriving minutes later, taping off the area immediately around the vehicle as an investigation was launched.

Local tipsters told Lower Bucks Source the woman’s vehicle was parked in front of a family member’s residence. The family member was quickly alerted to the woman’s passing and appeared to have no reaction.

Bristol Borough Police officers were seen speaking with neighbors trying to pin down information like how long the car had been parked on Hayes St; had anyone spoken to the dead woman and other relevant investigative questions to rule in/out foul play connected to the death.

The cause and manner of the woman’s death is unknown at this time and pending results from the Bucks County Coroner. Borough Police declined to respond to this publication’s inquiries and requests for information on Thursday morning.

    The car was parked on Wilson, not Hayes. (the exit of the alley is Benson Place)

    Was it too much effort to spell out the word Wednesday? This headline looks like it was written by a child.

    I feel as though it was very insensitive to write that the family member had no reaction to the person’s death. That is an opinion not a fact.The person could have been in shock.

      It’s common practice to shorten names of days in story headlines.

      Susan it was an observation made by the tipster for the story which connotes someone in shock. Lack of outside visible reaction frequently happens death scenes especially if the death is unexpected.
