Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain vehicles due to a low-pressure fuel pump possibly failing and causing engine stalls while driving which may increase the risk of a crash.
According to Ford and the National Highway Traffic Administration Safety Administration (NHTSA), as of July 8, 2025, the following vehicles are included in the recall.
- 2021-2023 Bronco
- 2021-2023 Explorer
- 2021-2023 Lincoln Aviator
- 2021-2023 F-250 SD
- 2021-2023 F-350 SD
- 2021-2023 F-450 SD
- 2021-2023F-550 SD
- 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator
- 2021-2022 Mustang
- 2021-2022 F-150
- 2022 Expedition
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that a remedy is under development. Owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed on July 14, 2025. A second letter will be sent once a remedy is available. Ford owners of affected vehicles should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 for further assistance. Refer to Ford’s recall number 25S75 for details.
