A late Sunday night fire in Falls Township is under investigation by Falls Township authorities with the mobile homeowner accusing his ex-girlfriend of setting his home ablaze.
Fire crews were dispatched around 10:25 last night to the 5100 block of Grady Drive for a fire. Firefighters quickly controlled the fire in the single-floor dwelling, but significant damage was already done.
“My ex-girlfriend lit the place up” the bewildered, shirtless, cigarette in hand, homeowner said, pacing up and down Grady Drive.
“Now I have no clothes to wear for work tomorrow!” he exclaimed as the Falls Township Fire Marshal’s office along with police and firefighters managed the blaze surrounded by crime scene tape.

The stunned homeowner spoke with Falls Twp. authorities from the police and fire marshal’s office. A team of investigators walked through the home and seemed to be focused on the left-rear section of the home, apparently checking out a burn pattern in the ceiling area.

The fire marshal’s office did not immediately respond to a request for information as of 7 a.m. Monday.
