The Bucks County Parks and Recreation Department announced Tuesday the Oxford Valley Pool in Falls Township will not reopen this summer.
“We appreciate that this news comes as a disappointment to many, and we apologize for any disruption this brings to your summer plans,” a department statement said.
Officials said all members will automatically receive a full refund in the coming days.
Bucks County officials expects the county-owned pool adjacent to Hood Boulevard will reopen next summer.
The leak, which had been challenging to pinpoint, was discovered late last month to be in the pool’s pipes, not its shell or liner, officials said.
The Hood Boulevard Pool features a main pool with a maximum depth of 4 feet, 3 inches, and a wading pool that is 1 foot, 6 inches deep.
The Oxford Valley Pool is one of a few government-operated pools in Bucks County.
The county also operates the Tohickon Valley Pool in Upper Bucks County.
Nearby options include Pinewood Pool, which is owned by Falls Township.
