A Bensalem Township Police officer who pulled over a motorist for too much window tinting discovered the driver was wanted for attempted homicide by the Trenton Police Department.
According to a press release, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, a Bensalem Township Police Officer was on patrol in the area of 2700 Knights Road when he observed a black Chevrolet Malibu with heavily tinted windows that violated the PA Vehicle Code. The officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Quamere Forney, 31, Laurel Place, Trenton, New Jersey.
A check of the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) revealed Forney had an active arrest warrant out of the Trenton Police Department for attempted homicide and related charges.
Forney was taken into custody without incident, arraigned by District Justice Baranoski, and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility with no bail. He is awaiting extradition proceedings.
“This is another example of the great work that Bensalem Township Officers are doing daily. We continue to enforce the traffic laws of Pennsylvania and remove dangerous criminals from our community” said a spokesperson for the Bensalem Police Department.
