A Levittown man is now a guest at Bucks County Correctional Facility accused of a strong-arm robbery that was originally dismissed in a late October hearing and refiled by authorities.
On Tuesday September 16, 2025, at 11:41 p.m., a witness for the Wawa located at 5900 Bristol Pike in Bristol reported a female was assaulted in the rear of the store near the ice box. The female reportedly was visibly hurt and bleeding from the face, she told police.
Bristol Township Police arrived on scene and spoke with the victim. She told responding officers that her boyfriend, Kason Zellars, punched her multiple times in the face and took her Samsung S7 cell phone.
After taking the victim’s cell phone, Zellars fled the area, officers wrote in court papers.
The cellphone is worth approximately $670.00, according to police.
The victim’s left side of her face was swollen, and she had a laceration above her left eye that was actively bleeding. Medics transported the victim to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital Trauma Center for her injuries.
Zellars is charged with felony robbery and misdemeanor assault.
Magisterial District Judge Kevin P. Wagner set bail at 10% of $100,000.00 with a court date of December 10 – four days after Zellars celebrates his 32nd birthday.
