Bristol Township Police are currently on scene on 6800 Bristol Emilie Rd, Levittown, adjacent to Acme and the Bridge Coffee Shop for downed PECO Power lines.
Lower Bucks Source’s Jo Ames was on scene and reported a work crew is on scene to begin repairs.
PECO officials said its likely the high winds hitting the area are significant factor in the power lines coming down, adding 17 customers are currently impacted by loss of power, none of which are the businesses that are open. They still have power.
A PECO work crew supervisor said he’s not authorized to speak to the press and thus declined to comment on the cause of the downed power lines.
According to PECO officials about 20 customers were impacted by the downed power lines none of which were any of the businesses currently open.
