A 44 year-old woman with a lengthy arrest and conviction history was arrested late last month after a warrant for her arrest was issued.
According to the probable cause filed by Sgt Dino Lepore, he was dispatched to the 1100 block of Beaver Street to handle a criminal mischief report just after 8 am on November 3.
Upon arrival, Lepore met with the homeowner who told police Chrystal Brewington pushed in a first floor air conditioner while the victim and her family were sleeping inside.
Brewington is also accused of breaking into the victim’s vehicle and stealing several items including a handicap parking placard and vehicle paperwork.
Lepore also noted Brewington damaged the rearview mirror and scratching “RIP” into the hood of the vehicle. The motivation for the “RIP” inscription was not noted in the probable cause.
Brewington was taken into custody by police on the arrest warrant November 21,
On call Judge Terrence Hughes arraigned her on one felony count of burglary, with misdemeanors of terroristic threats, theft, and criminal mischief. She was released on unsecured bail with a pending court date of January 21.
Brewingon, according to court records is currently on probation connected to a assault charge she pled guilty to last spring.
