The Middletown Community Foundation is accepting donations for a local family with three children that lost everything a Thursday Penndel house fire
“We would love to rally behind them and replace some of their belongings, as they left with nothing but the pajamas they had on” a foundation spokesperson said Friday.

Or checks payable to the Middletown Township Police Department at 5 Municipal Way Langhorne, PA 19047 ATTN Ofc. Robison.
“The Foundation was able to purchase all the essentials on Thursday, but we hope to have the community support them in a bigger way. We will be getting wish lists together as well – once they have a moment to breathe and figure out what they need,” a post on the foundations Meta page says.
Fire officials announced the cause of the fire saying it started because of a by an unattended outdoor fire pit and as been ruled accidental, according to LevittownNow.com
The eight residents living in the home are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
No one was injured and Penndel Borough Police Officer Sean Peck is being hailed as hero for calling the blaze in and alerting residents about the fire which decimated the 2-story home.
