According to CBSNews Philadelphia, eight residents were evacuated by police officer Sean Peck, who went into the home through the heavy smoke and flames to alert residents to the fire.
The blaze broke out around 4 a.m. just outside the home near the garage. Smoke was still rising from the house after 7 a.m, according to fire officials on scene.
Hoarding apparently made fighting the fire for crews very challenging, a first responder source told Lower Bucks Source.
The dwelling was subsequently knocked down due to being structural instability due to the fire damage.
