Bristol Township first responders knocked back a house fire in the Crabtree section of Levittown Saturday night braving frozen temperatures.
At just after 8 p.m. fire crews from Levittown #1 and #2, Edgely, Fairless Hills fire companies with the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad were dispatched to Corn Flower Lane for a reported shed fire.
Fire crews upon arrival discovered a large wooden shed engulfed in flames with the blaze extending into the home.
A “quick stretch to get water on the fire successfully saved the residence” said Levittown Fire Company #2 fire officials.
The Fire was placed under control within 30 minutes, officials said.
No injuries were reported and the fire is being described as accidental with the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s office investigating the cause of the fire.
