Updated: Shooting in Bristol Borough on Jefferson, Investigation Ongoing

Bristol Borough Police were dispatched for a report of shots fired in the 500 block of Jefferson Ave at 2:57 p.m Thursday afternoon, as previously reported by Lower Bucks Source.




Upon arrival officers found numerous shell casings and a parked vehicle which was struck by bullets several times, authorities said.
Investigators have so far determined that there was an altercation between two groups. One subject produced a handgun and fired several rounds at the opposing group said. The suspect then fled in a dark colored vehicle, which sources have told LBS is maroon in color.
Investigators have interviewed several individuals involved in the incident and the investigation is continuing with no other details provided by police.

Bristol Borough Police are on the scene on Jefferson Avenue investigating an alleged shooting that took place Thursday afternoon. According to one witness, the shooting took place in the area of the 500 block of Jefferson, no more than an hour ago.
Witnesses say operators of two vehicles in a parking lot allegedly got into an argument which led to the shooting. A male with no description available at this present time got out of a grey vehicle as the argument continued and started to fire his gun.
