Goose Causes Fatal Crash on State Road, Motorcyclist is a Borough Resident

Bristol Twp Police say a goose flying out of the woods hit a directly into the side of a motorcyclist’s head causing the crash in which caused his death.

Police say the motorcyclist’s was not wearing his helmet when the crash occurred.

The impact sent the motorcyclist into the oncoming lane of traffic. The 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle sideswiped an oncoming 2016 Chevy Spark and subsequently drove head-on into a 2022 Toyota Highlander. The motorcyclist was, Bristol Twp Lt Ralph Johnson said Friday in a statement.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Bucks County Rescue Squad, officials said.

A law enforcement source said the motorcyclist was a resident of Bristol Borough. His family was notified Friday by police of his death.

Bristol Township Police were assisted at the scene by Bristol Borough Police, Bristol Township Fire
Marshall, Bucks County Rescue Squad, and the Croydon Fire Company.

Anyone with information regarding the crash are asked to call Officer Paul Aita at (267) 812-3042.

A crash on State Road in the Croydon section of  Bristol Township has shut down travel on the roadway.

The accident reportedly involves two vehicles and a motorcyclist and occurred just before 10:30 am.

First responders are on scene, witnesses say there was one fatality, however Lower Bucks Source has not confirmed those reports with authorities.

One source told the publication one of the motorists involved in the accident was seen  providing CPR to an accident victim. A second source at the scene confirmed that observation.

My son works very close to where the accident accused he say and heard ,many .many people just stopped and took pictures, didn’t get out of the car,vehicles, just keep taking pictures as if they didn’t care about this person lying ,and was trapped, and cameras shutters were going off ,How can a human being who loves people in this world and how would they feel if it was a brother or a cousin or a friend, And this horrible thing was happening so they could get a picture, not trying to stop and save a young man’s life , I hope they feel like a horrible human being and let one of us Americans just die for a picture.
