Updated: Hit-and-Run Victim Identified, DA to Hold 3 pm Press Conference

Bristol Township Police released the name of the victim in Sunday’s hit and run killing in Bristol Township, Monday afternoon.
The victim is identified Jason A. Smith 47 years of age From Easton PA who recently moved to Levittown, was driving his White Nissan Maxima just prior to incident, Police said in the press release Monday.
Sources are telling Lower Bucks Source, the incident was road rage related, although Police have yet to confirm that report.
Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub is scheduled to hold a 3 pm press conference at the Justice Center in Doylestown about search for the driver of the gray Chevrolet Silverado 4-door pickup truck that struck and killed Smith Sunday afternoon in the McDonald’s parking lot.

A person was struck and killed by a gray Chevrolet Silverado 4-door pickup truck in the parking lot of McDonald’s late Sunday afternoon with the driver fleeing the scene, Police say
The incident occurred just after 4 pm when Bristol Township Police were dispatched to the restaurants parking lot, 7700 Bristol Pike.
The pedestrian was transported by an ambulance from the Bucks County Rescue Squad to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, Police said.
The name of the victim was not released by police.
The striking vehicle was a gray Chevrolet Silverado 4-door pickup truck, approximately a 2013 model, with a 4×4 sticker on both sides of the bed, black rims, and a front vanity license plate. The truck may be missing an oval shaped black plastic trim piece that may cover a fog lamp opening, Police said.
