Bristol Borough Police Officer Hospitalized After Attack by Dog

A Bristol Borough Police officer was hospitalized Christmas night after being attacked by a Rottweiler during a domestic incident call.

A tipster living near the 600 block of Pond Street shared some details about the incident, Chief of Police Joe Moors confirmed for Lower Bucks Source.

Moors said that just before 7 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Pond for a domestic incident call. As the officer approached/opened the front door of the residence the Rottweiler attacked, knocking the officer back about eight feet to the ground.

This was all the information Moors was willing to confirm at publication time.

Moors who is currently at Jefferson – Torresdale Hospital where the officer is being treated for his/her injuries, would not provide the identity of the officer or comment on his/her current medical condition.
