2 Hurt in Bensalem Hotel Explosion

Two people suffered minor injuries after an explosion at a hotel in Bensalem Township Sunday.

It happened at the Extended Stay of America on Tillman Drive, investigators  said.

Authorities from Bensalem Fire Rescue, Bensalem Police Department and the Philadelphia field office of the ATF  investigating the cause the explosion.

Two occupants of the room, where the explosion occurred, suffered minor injuries and were transported by Bensalem EMS to a local medical facility.

The hotel has re-opened with the exception of two rooms on the second floor

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing as of Monday morning.
